Agnes van Duffelen
Agnes is born and raised in the city of The Hague where she studied Marketing Communications at InHolland College after which she studied in Madrid for one year taking a Spanish language course at the Universidad Complutense. She started her career as Project Manager at EF Language Schools in The Hague and Madrid. Agnes also worked at the Marketing dept. of the Dutch Tourism Board and Convention Bureau (NBTC).
Work:
Agnes is Managing Partner at Baltus Communications and her main tasks are the initiation of media cooperations with online and print titles. Additionally the organisation of events and communication with our Spanish clients belong to Agnes’ portfolio. Agnes knows how to keep the right balance between client and media relations and sees business with an analytical and creative eye while being a sharp observer. Press trips are organized smoothly with an attention for detail.
Favourite travel experience:
There are too many! But the favourite experience has to be swimming with wild dolphins at Bay of Kaikoura in New Zealand.
Significant detail:
In her spare time she volunteers at the ‘Voorlees Express’ – a non-profit organisation that stimulates Dutch reading for immigrant children. Anges believes that without a good knowledge of the language you will never reach anything.
