  • 20 May 2021
  • Location:  online tool Networkapp

Do you represent a:

  • amusement/theme park
  • family leisure park
  • tourist attraction
  • museum
  • zoo
  • outdoor/indoor recreation
  • national park
  • or any other day attraction related organisation…

… then the Amusement Parks Press Event is the perfect opportunity for you to promote your park, attraction, museum, zoo, activity or company to the Dutch travel & lifestyle media!

We have a great of experience in organising this kind of thematic Meet the Dutch Travel Press events. For 8 years we have organised a City Breaks Press event and 9 times we have organised a Winter Sports Press event for winter sports regions in Europe. Media love the concept and ease of meeting a great deal of companies in a certain segment of the travel industry in just one day – far more practical than each and every attraction wanting to organise their own event. This speeddating concept event will allow them to collect many news items, you can pitch story ideas and angles, invite them for press trips, discuss prize and readers offers, arrange interviews, explore advertorials and campaigns and more.

The concept

Easy and very efficient!

After having worked for over 20 years with Dutch travel press, we have an amazing database of online and offline travel and lifestyle press. We offer you the opportunity to personally meet with a large cross section of the Dutch media in one day. Because of Covid-19 it will not be a real event with people in one room but a webinar style event so you can promote your attraction from your own home or your office in front of your laptop or computer. Via the Networkapp tool you can have face-to-face chats with print journalists of newspapers, magazines, weeklies and monthlies, freelance journalists, bloggers, web editors, influencers, vloggers, photographers etc.

You will have your own ‘room’ to display text, photos, logo and a video on your product. One week prior to 20 May Dutch media can register and block 15-minute-chats with you –  they will see a simple and practical overview of all time slots still availabe.

  • fully dedicated to the attraction parks and other day attractions
  • 1-stop-shop for media to meet with many attactions in Holland and Europe in 1 day
  • your chance to meet with lots of (new) media contacts
  • inform them about news, new (planned) attractions, opening dates/months, entrance price, etc.
  • initiate press trips and joint promotions
  • generate free publicity and if you want advertorials
  • participating attraction parks and other attactions from all over Europe
  • between 80 – 100 Dutch media and bloggers expected to register
  • concept has proven to be very successful

For a quick impression of a similiar event dedicated to Winter sports (this one was pre-Covid so a live indoor event) but with the same concept, kindly click on the video below:

(Fun) facts about amusement parks:

  • an estimated 270 million people visit amusement parks every year in Europe
  • the oldest amusement park is more than 400 years old, this park was opened in 1583 in Denmark
  • the world’s largest water park can hold 40,000 people

The Dutch cannot wait to go on a holiday!

Attractions in Holland and Europe are still closed because of Covid-19. However, by the first week of July 90% of the Dutch adult population will have been vaccinated so at this time travel restrictions are expected to have been lifted again. And believes us, the Dutch cannot wait to go on holiday again so they will do so in full force. Especially motoring holidays in Europe – Dutch families driving to their holiday destination in their own cars – are expected to be very popular and rest assured dad and mom want to spoil their kids after the past year with hardly any fun. Visits to theme parks and other day attractions will be high on their wish list!

Because of the closure of attraction parks and other attractions and therefore missed income, we have are keeping the participation price modest: 450 euro.

Participation price:

1 representative €450,-

prices are ex 21% VAT*

For companies based in Europe and who have their own VAT number, we do not have to charge 21% VAT!
