Lorraine is the only region in France to border Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium, lies at a 5-hour drive from the centre of the Netherlands and can also be reached by train: from Paris it is 1,5 hrs with the TGV to the city of Nancy.

Hills and forrests make the region a challenge for the adventurous travellers amongst you. A very varied tourism region with cities like Nancy and Metz, one of the oldest cities in France. Furthermore the Vosges mountains, Verdun and Vittel/Contrexéville are some of the highlights. Wine lovers will enjoy a cruise along the Meuse river, famous for its wines.

Lorraine is the birthplace of Jeanne d’Arc, famous for it Mirabelle fruit, Baccarat glass and of course quiche Lorraine.
